North Kihei Farmer’s Market: Family-owned farmer’s market with local produce, baked goods, prepared items & samples. Check the website for days and hours. Sugar Beach Bake Shop: Lots of goodies like malasadas and lilikoi cream pie! Right next to the North Kihei Farmer’s Market. Ululani’s Hawaiian Shave Ice: This famous shave iced spot is right next to the Sugar Beach Bakery Shop. Havens: Local favorite for takeout. Delicious burgers and local grindz. Located in North Kihei, immediately off the highway and next to the gas station. Take out only. Order online. Da Kitchen: Located in Long’s Drugs shopping center on the left side in the corner. It’s a small local favorite serving Hawaiian comfort food. Dine in or take out. Wow Wow Hawaiian Lemonade: In the Azeka Shopping Center Makao Side. Their name says it all. Fork & Salad: A great healthy option in the Azeka Shopping Center Makao Side. Locally sourced organic sandwiches, salads, and wraps. Online ordering available. Coconuts Fish Café: Two locations. One in North Kihei in the Azeka Shopping Center Makao Side and the other in South Kihei in Kamaole Plaza. Online ordering available. Kihei Food Park: Located behind the Azeka Shopping Center. It gets hot here around lunchtime, but it’s much cooler later in the day. Tables and seating are available, but it’s not the nicest spot to eat. Suns Out Buns Out, Da Nani Pirates, Bling Bing Shave Ice, and Kraken Coffee are all popular. Akamai Coffee Kihei Location: Great coffee with a limited selection of food choices. Times Supermarket: Best deal you can find for poke bowls. They have a deli with a selection of hot food, too. Cafe Moon: Tasty Korean food from this hidden takeout spot. They have a small seating area. Tamura’s Fine Wines & Liquors: They have a variety of fresh catch poke bowls. Foodland: Great selection of poke plus other hot foods and sandwiches. South Maui Fish Company (food truck): Fresh poke and seafood (caught that day!) and all local ingredients. Very popular with locals and tourists alike. Outrigger Pizza: Near Taco bell in the Kukui Mall. It’s a small cart that serves delicious pizzas. Online ordering is available. Paia Fish Market South Side: In Kalama Village. They have great fresh fish sandwiches and tacos. Dine in or take out. South Maui Gardens: Lots of great food here. There are several breakfast spots and a coffee house on the south side. On the north side, food trucks offer lunch and dinner. Check out their website to explore all the options. Thai Mee Up, Howz it Eh, and the Blue Door Bakery & Pizza Kitchen are all favorites. Kinaole Grill Food Truck: Great place to grab some food, walk down to the beach, and watch the sunset. The coconut shrimp is always a favorite, but you may have trouble deciding because everything else is delicious too! ABC Store South Kihei: The South Kihei location has a great little deli offering poke, sandwiches, salads, and a variety of local foods made to go. Located right across from Kamaole Beach Park I. They have a large grassy area and picnic tables. Cafe La Plage: Located in the Dolphin Plaza. Great little breakfast cafe with sandwiches, bagels, and paninis. Dine in or pick up. Online ordering available, That’s a Wrap Cafe: In the Dolphin Plaza. Healthy wraps and bowls. Dine in or takeout. Maui Gelato and Waffles: Yummy gelato, ice cream, desserts, and sugary breakfasts. Hawaiian Moons Natural Foods: Great little health food store with coffee, a juice and acai bar, and a deli serving breakfast sandwiches, paninis, burgers, wraps, and more. This is a perfect place to grab food and have lunch across the street from Kamaole Beach Park I. Beach Street Maui Shaved Ice: In front of the Rainbow Mall. More than shaved ice. They have breakfast, smoothies, and delicious fruit and acai bowls. There are a few outdoor tables, or bring your treats across the street to Kamaole Beach Park I. Online ordering. Cinnamon Roll Place: Sooooo good! Located in Kamaole Plaza underneath Coconuts. 808 Deli: Delicious specialty sandwiches and breakfast, all at very reasonable prices. It’s the perfect place to grab a sandwich and head across the street to Kamaole Beach II. It gets busy, so call ahead for takeout. Spoon and Key: Located in the Wailea Village. Breakfast, sandwiches, wraps, and more. Dine-in or takeout. Akamai Coffee Wailea Village: Great coffee and breakfast sandwiches, wraps, and more in a lovely setting. Island Gourmet Market: Located in the Shops of Wailea on the south side of the parking lot. Poke bowls, sushi, sandwiches, wraps, hot lunches, and a coffee and tea bar. This is pretty much your go-to spot for a quick bite in Wailea. Lappert’s Hawaii Ice Cream: Located in the Shops of Wailea. A favorite of kids and adults—so good! For Delivery: Hopper Maui has the largest selection, but both DoorDash and Uber Eats deliver in most of South Maui as well. |
